PV Mehta & Co Ltd was first established in the island of Zanzibar in the early 1960's. The firm specialised in providing accounting, auditing and tax compliance services. Our clients were mainly the local traders dealing in general household merchandise, textiles and spices such as cloves. The firm operated for over twenty years.

Thereafter, the firm was re-established in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania. The firm continued providing accounting, auditing and tax compliance services together with other business support and legal services to small and medium sized enterprises. The firm operated for over twenty years.

PV Mehta & Co Ltd has been established in the United Kindgom and is lead by Hitesh Mehta.

Hitesh is licensed by ACCA to practise as a Registered Auditor in the UK . He is professionally qualified as an ACCA in the UK and as a Certified Public Accountant in Tanzania. Having worked with KPMG for over 12 years and 5 years with Ernst & Young (UK) he has acquired significant wealth of experience and has a strong understanding of financial reporting in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS.

Having worked in the UK public practices for over ten years, Hitesh is highly experienced in providing accounting, tax, business advisory and external audit services. His sector experience include banking, brokerage, investment management, funds, property, retail and media. He has performed a number of contracting roles within the brokerage, hotel and media industry and also provides accounting and tax support services to clients who are professional contractors operating via limited companies.

Hitesh also brings in his international experience having worked in a number of international locations such as Tanzania, Uganda, Channel Islands and the USA. Hitesh has been to Kenya, South Africa and Nigeria on training related activities.

Hitesh leads PV Mehta & Co Ltd and together with his team, the firm is focused on delivering value through a personalised approach backed by great experience.
